Kazuo Misue is a professor at the Institute of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Japan, where he performs research and development on information technology. His research interests include human-computer interaction, information visualization, and automatic graph drawing. He received the BSc and the MSc from Tokyo University of Science in 1984 and 1986. He received the Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Tokyo in 1997. He is a member of the ACM, IEEE, IEICE, IPSJ, JSAI, and JSSST.
