Practical IT Program

The Practical Software Development Master Program (the Practical IT Program, for short) is an academic program at the Department of Computer Science, University of Tsukuba.

It is a Master's program, which has its own objective and curriculum, independent from the General Program.


  • Focuses on practical IT education including PBL (Project-based Learning).

  • Writing Master thesis is not required, but students need to get 50 credits from the courses in this program.

  • Upon completion of the program, students will get certificates of the program completion.
